Villa Michaela, Tuscany
Villa Michaela is an immaculately restored
19th-century villa nestling in the pine-forested
foothills just south of Lucca. This beautiful
four-storey villa features five reception rooms,
including a library and a magnificent drawing
room. The interior is stunning and blessed with
frescoed ceilings and a delightful mix of antiques -
there is even a 7ft. Bechstein grand piano! An
additional three bed coach house situated in the
grounds is available at an additional supplement.
The picturesque village of Vorno is just five
minutes walk away where you will find a bar,
village shop and an excellent restaurant.
Alternatively, the historical walled city of Lucca is
just 10 minutes by car, Pisa is 25 minutes and
Florence just under an hour away. The coast can
be found an hour away by car.
11 double en suite bedrooms, family dining room,
television room, formal dining room, kitchen,
lounge, swimming pool (not heated).
Dining is a wonderful experience, with lunch
enjoyed by the pool and fabulous dinners served
either alfresco-style underneath a canopy of
wisteria, or indoors in the ornate frescoed dining
room.
Within the 50 acres of garden you will find a large
floodlit swimming pool and tennis court.
Guests are responsible for payment of all food and
beverages (including all Household bills and food
for staff), the heating of the swimming pool and
personal laundry. (Please note that the swimming
pool will not be open at all during the period 1st
October - 30th April inclusive).
Upon arrival your villa will be pre-stocked with an
initial supply of sundry items. These include a food
arrival pack, cleaning supplies and detergents.
11 double bedrooms and 11 bathrooms (10 of
which are ensuite - of these four have two beds the
rest 6 foot wide super king beds).
Villa Michaela has 1 cook, 2 maids and 1 gardener
and 1 manager. (Staff have 1 day off per week).
The staff at Villa Michaela will provide the service of
up to two meals a day, 6 days a week. They will
serve a typical continental buffet breakfast and
EITHER lunch or dinner.
All food and beverages are to be paid for locally.
